Just in time for the summer, Drumagick brings Brazilian sunshine and some of that unexplainable south
American magic previously championed by DJ Marky and Patife. The release is digital only, giving us a sneak
peak into their third studio album coming out in October, it’s the one to look out for! The Brazilian brothers’
good-time beats and bass is guaranteed to lighten up the cloudiest of days.
‘Dry Your Eyes’ is an uplifting summertime excursion with an unavoidably catchy vocal from Ernesto with
nostalgic jazz flute to bring a smile to your face. Do what you must – dance your legs off or just chill in the sun,
good vibes are on the house. Maybe this is why all the Brazilian producers are always smiling in photos? A
heavier remix with a bassline to boot can also be found in this release for a tasty alternative.
The second gem, ‘The Drummer’, is funky 4/4 bassline house tune which thanks to some running vocals from
Dynamite MC never fails to deliver, with crazy drums and snares that never sounded iller! Latin American
energy, that brings any dance floor alive. Watch for the jump-up remix too that makes for a welcome addition
to an already essential package.
Massive support from DJ Marky, Gilles Peterson, Brian Gee, DJ Hype, EZ Rollers, Makoto, Roni Size, Shy FX, Zinc
and many more.
