In January 2011, Critical Music is 50 releases young and the label is celebrating by unleashing ‘Critical Sound Of
Drum & Bass’, a bumper pack of Critical talent past and yet to come. 50 releases is a benchmark for a label that
has maintained an impressive forward momentum through the choppy waters of drum & bass success, fuelled by
a combination of smart artist selection and some serious A&R skills from label boss, Kasra. ‘Critical Sound of
Drum & Bass’ represents the Critical Music ethos from CRIT001 onward, showcasing how the label has provided a
platform for some of the best emerging talent of the past eight years, spring-boarding the stars of the future.
