Fourward (Virus, Nasca, Subsonik)

Since forming back in 2007 Fourward have quickly gone on to become one of the most highly regarded nu-skool production/DJ outfits in drum & bass today. Having so far amassed releases on labels such as Ed Rush & Optical’s legendary Virus Recordings, Nasca, Subsonik, Fokuz, Citrus and more in a relatively short amount of time it seems that sometimes four heads really are better than one.

Drawing influences from house, hip hop, punk and metal, Fourward are never short of an idea and their music to date has seen them carving out their own deadly dance floor sound that has had raves going crazy all over the globe since their inception a few years ago. Now firmly part of the Austrian clique along with D.Kay, DisasZt, Camo & Krooked and Body & Soul the guys are enjoying the success amongst this new rush of interest and new blood in European D&B culture.

In 2009 Fourward were taken on board by Austria’s infamous Urban Art Forms family and as a result has seen them playing to thousands of people at some of the best parties throughout the country and beyond. Now with forthcoming releases lined up on Teebee’s Subtitles, DSCI4 and Nasca amongst others the future looks very bright for these guys. If you’re lucky enough to catch one of their DJ sets then make sure you’re ready to rock as Fourward never fail to get those legs skanking and all the faces smiling!
